Bushwick Inlet Park

I just stumbled across this snapshot I took in March 2024 of this park, which I really enjoyed walking around. I love city parks, with their mix of pathways, hardscaping, plants and natural beauty, and lighting design. I’ve been considering reaching out to the NYC Parks department to stay abreast of new parks to shoot and visit.

I took this shot as a reminder to return during the warmer months to get some photos when the landscaping was filled out. I forgot to do that at any point last year, but I do want to make a point of visiting it this year to make those photos, and develop that part of my photography skill set and portfolio.

This building also has caught my eye for years, and I’m sure I have some other photos of it kicking around on a hard drive somewhere. If I happen across them, I’ll update this post with them. I really like the lawn on the green roof as a design feature.

If you know of any cool new parks in the works, let me know!
