Katz’s Delicatessen
We all have our favorite ‘classic new york’ haunts. Katz’s is one of mine. I love going at 2-3am in order to avoid the long lines and get some phenomenal late night grub, and to soak in the lights & atmosphere.
So Juicy
Get the Pastrami on Rye with Mustard.
Just thinking about it has me dreaming of that juicy, glistening, fatty, peppery pastraimi melting in my mouth. Man, I wanna go right now.
I was just recommending it to some friends that are in town, so I felt inspired to share these images with you, and put them up here to share with them.
Most of these photos are from a visit in 2016, but fortunately Katz’s is a time capsule and never changes.
Birthday Sammies with Buds
I just went earlier this year for my 39th birthday, after a night of carousing and drinking around the East Village with the boys. I shot several photos then, but they’re not ready to publish and I really should be getting back to work rather than writing this post, haha.

Tipsy Photo Friends
Don’t worry, you won’t be the only one sloshed in here at 3am. If you’re here with a camera as I always am, invariably you’ll have some jolly tipsy folks that want to post or photobomb.
Girl on the right asked me to take her photo, causing the guy to crack up, and the other girl to move to pose as well. There’s another shot with the left woman holding her sandwich up, but I prefer the look on the right woman’s face in this one.
I love this one. I really need to print it. I laughed when I noticed the guy again upon reviewing this shot just now.
