Yashica 124 - Ilford 100

This was the very first roll I put through my Yashika TLR right after it was given to me. If I recall correctly, it seized up toward the end and I had to get it CLE’d after this. It obviously needed it, just look at all that gunk on the lens.

Oh wait, that can’t be right - because it was the guy at the camera shop that gave me this roll of film. This is what I get for not writing things down in the moment, and coming back to the images years later.

Naturally, I shot the whole thing of a train station and ride on the Amtrak, in keeping with my ambient ‘In Transit’ photo series. This is Rhinecliff Station, on the Hudson River in Upstate New York. And it’s funny that I was shooting black and white, because this sunset was absolutely gorgeous.
