That last email sucked.
Hey. I just had a wild revelatory experience.
I restarted my auto blog post mailer, and then published a couple of things that were collecting dust in the blog drafts. You might not have noticed there were 3-4 different posts in that last email. Whoops.
You might not have noticed because the first paragraph was not at all exciting to read, and I would be absolutely blow away if you made any progress getting down there. What was a decent looking carousel of images on my website because a massive flood of images together with no breaks. Awful presentation. I’ll do better.

I had a funny experience while I was on the train yesterday. I got a little ping on my Apple Watch, and, ooo, what’s this, an email from Nicholas Doyle?
I picked up my phone and saw the notification on the lockscreen - and the title of that first post was a mess.
Then, I opened up the email and saw the mess that I’d made. It’s irresponsible.
It’s amazing that you’ve chosen to give a little space and attention to me in your life, in this most private and intimate of spaces. There is a sacred quiet to this screen, where it lacks all the distractions of social media, wishing to tear you in every other direction.
Here, you’re just spending a moment with me, and only with me, and I have a sacred duty here to give you the best I possibly can, and regard that as if you and I are sitting at a coffee shop catching up, having a fun lunch, laughing over a beer, having an lovely dinner together, or going on a long walk where we dig deep into the topics that keep us up at night. ( P.S. Wanna do any of those? I’m down. Reply now and we’ll make plans.)
That’s what we’re here for. On this planet. In this life.
Expect to see some changes around here, and if you haven’t sent me an email in a while, please hit reply and let me know how you’re doing.
Here’s the question I’ve been asking people these days:
“What kind of art do you make?”
